Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 11, 2026. We believe your business and your customers deserve privacy by default.
1. We don’t track you
Unlike most modern web apps, TurnQueue does not use third-party cookies, tracking pixels, or intrusive analytics scripts. We don't watch you across the web.
2. Functional Data & Security
To provide a stable and secure service, we use the following minimal data:
Technical Security: We process non-identifying technical data (like IP addresses) temporarily to prevent bot abuse and ensure the queue remains fair for everyone. This data is only used for security and rate-limiting.
Functional Cookies & Local Storage: We use browser storage (cookies and Local Storage) solely to remember your position in line so you don't lose your spot if you refresh the page.
3. Information we collect
We only collect the information absolutely necessary to run your queue:
For Business Owners: We store your business name and email address so we can send you your private dashboard link and notify you of important system updates.
For Customers: We do not ask for or store names, phone numbers, or emails. We only generate a temporary token number for their position in line. Your queue position is stored only in your browser — it never leaves your device.
Customer Feedback: Star ratings and optional comments submitted by customers are anonymous (linked only to a token number, not a person). This feedback is visible only to the business owner and is automatically deleted when the owner starts a new day, or within 30 days at the latest.
4. Data Storage & Security
TurnQueue uses trusted third-party infrastructure. Our application and database run on Cloudflare's global network. Because Cloudflare operates globally, your data may be processed on servers outside your country — always under industry-standard encryption.
Email delivery is handled by Resend. Your email address is shared with them solely to send you your dashboard link. They do not use it for any other purpose.
Data retention: Your business name and email are kept for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will do so within 30 days. Customer feedback is automatically cleared when the owner starts a new day, or within 30 days at the latest.
5. No Selling of Data
We will never sell your personal information or your business data to third parties. We make money by providing a valuable tool, not by harvesting your data.
6. Your Rights
Since we store very little data, managing it is simple. You have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, email us at support@turnqueue.com and we will respond within 30 days.
